1. There is an average diagnostic delay of 7.5 years* from first presentation to a Doctor in the UK.

    *that means that there are some women waiting more than 10 years to get a definitive diagnosis!

     

    2. Although endometriosis does affect fertility, some women are still able to become pregnant.

      This is great news for researchers as they try and determine the  exact mechanism in how endometriosis affects fertility

       

      3. Endometriosis can grow anywhere in the body.
